Project Life Week 35

I managed to finish my Week 35 a lot quicker than I anticipated.  This was not an action-packed week for us really, so I struggled to find enough stuff to incorporate into the week.

And I used my 5x7 page protectors for the first time this week to add these two pictures of the boys that I love.

  1. I love all the embellished cards! WOW - everything is so inspiring. I particularly love the collage about the Berenstein Bears (is it?).

  4. Do you have a Cameo? How did you make the wood grain paper dolls in that one journal card spot? It is SO cute!

And another question - where have you been getting your photos printed? I am so unhappy with the prints I've been getting. So inconsistent and the coloring is all over the place. Bah!

  5. Melissa, No Cameo or cutting machine, unfortunately. I am pretty sure those are by Amy Tangerine. I got them with several different die cuts a few months ago.

I go back and forth with pictures. I use Costco primarily, but have also used Target and Wal-mart depending on what our schedule is like when I go to print them out. This week (week 41), I actually printed some on my new printer because I didn't want to have to go to town and pick them up. They turned out pretty well, but I did use Red River Photo paper, so that probably helped.

  6. I haven't tried Costco, that's a bit of a drive for me so I only get there twice a month. Target, Walgreens and CVS are my close options and of those Target was the best... but my store just replaced their printing equipment a couple months ago and the quality is so bad now. Hazy, slightly pixeled and cast with a yellow/green hue.
Frustrating! I don't really want to print myself, but I feel like my options are narrowing. I need to research the cost of replacement inks. My current printer is capable of printing photos well, but it sucks up ink like crazy and the cartridges cost a fortune. :-/
