Becky Higgins Project Life at Michael's Stores : Dear Lizzy Fifth and Frolic

I had the opportunity to work with the Dear Lizzy Project Life edition which will be exclusive to Michael's stores.  It is GORGEOUS!  I was a tiny bit intimidated by the girly colors, but the cards are just so gorgeous, I knew I could make them work.

Here's what I came up with using pictures from our beach vacation in June.

And here's a peek at a few of the cards available in this kit:  Love love love the foxes as well as the journaling cards.  I also love the camera card and the gorgeous florals in this kit.  It think that the mix of patterns in this kit is divine.

Project Life Week 21 (even though it says 22) : Becky Higgins Creative Team

I had a blast working on Week 21. I love the green/aqua color that is so prevalent in many collections this season.  I took that as my inspiration along with some shots of orange and ran with it. I used several embellishments from the October Afternoon Travel Girl line.  You can check out some of my favorites in the Two Peas links to the right.

Project Life Weeks 13 and 15 : Becky Higgins Jade Edition

Simple.  That was my motto for these two weeks.  I am still using some of the Jade cards that I have, but I still can't wait to get my hands on the full kit.  Have I mentioned that I love that kit? Really love it.  You can buy the digital version at AC Digitals now.

Project Life Week 12 : Becky Higgins Jade Edition

I used the rest of the Jade edition that I received to make the HSN sample album pages. I know I've said it a million times, but I truly love this edition and can't wait to get my hands on the full kit. I am kicking myself for not ordering it from HSN.

I hope you'll excuse the quality of my layout photos this month. I took them in a different spot that I usually do.  Lesson learned: it doesn't work quite as well. I also got a new lens that I'm just not 100% sold on.

Becky Higgins Creative Team : Project Life Week 8

If you follow me on Instagram, you know we've had quite the time with sickness in our household lately.  As I type this, my littlest boy is curled up on the couch with a fever and a sore throat.  I am praying that once this is over, that we're good to go for the rest of the year. This has been a tough few weeks for us.

Week 8 was pretty calm and light on pictures.  I used some journal cards from the Seafoam kit as well as some journal cards and tidbits from Evalicious and the Studio Calico Sundrifter line.

Project Life: Week 5

I'm caught up with Project Life! I try not to stay too behind. This week and last week's layouts were definitely on the simple side, which works for me every now and then.  I still love them as much as I do the more embellished weeks.

This week I used the Becky Higgins Project Life Baby Edition for Him. As you can see, the kit is super versatile. I chose to use the orange and greens from the kit mixed with a few items from my stash.  Since I didn't take very many pictures this week, I chose to use some pictures of me as a little girl since this was the week of my birthday. 

This week, I used Design A and Design D page protectors and mixed it up a bit. The green rectangle alphas are from October Afternoon and the small green alphas are Basic Grey. Some of the doo-dads and labels I used are October Afternoon, and there are also some stickers from Pebbles.  The swell veneer is from Freckled Fawn and the polaroid frame is by Studio Calico.

Project Life Week 4

My week 4 color scheme is a little different that what I've been creating these past few weeks. I am lovin' the Seafoam kit, and took this chance to change things up a bit.  If you follow me on Instagram, you might remember that I struggled with this week. I just couldn't pull it all together. So I stepped away and worked on another project of mine, and came back to it. I think that helped a good bit.

This week we had sunny weather, "dress like you're 100 years old" for the boys' 100th day of school, and some planning for an upcoming adventure.

This week I also used some tags from Crate Paper, printable cards from Valorie Wibbens at the Lily Pad, Basic Grey Alphas, Studio Calico envelopes, and some cards and a label from the February Studio Calico Kit.

Becky Higgins Creative Team: Project Life 2013 Week 1

I finished up my first 2013 spread this week. I used the GORGEOUS Seafoam kit.  I've printed the cards on my printer because I don't have the core kit yet.  I also mixed it with the Block Party Project Life kit from Studio Calico.

This was a short week: January 1-4th, so I didn't have a variety of images to use.  You will also notice that I don't have a whole lot of journaling for this week.  I included most of it in the folded journal cards (I LOVE LOVE LOVE these.)  If Becky sold packs of just the folded journal cards, I'd seriously stock up.
